Hans is a screenwriter, poet, short story and novel writer hailing from San Diego, California. He is an Iowa Young Writer’s Studio alumnus and a 2023 YoungArts Finalist in Novel. You can find him editing for Polyphony Lit and other publications. He is extremely experimental in his works which involve blind college students, boys at payphones, and an aluminum pancreas — Murakami, DFW, and O. Vuong hit the spot for him. He is developing a joint novella with Krish Mysoor about pirates and sugar daddies called Fresh on the Boat. He has too many works in progress.

PROSE EXECUTIVE EDITOR

Josiah Kam is from New Jersey and writes creative fiction. He focuses mostly on family-based fiction because there’s plenty of drama going on in his own. When he’s not drafting up blog posts for the Cereal Box he’s practicing cello, reading Peanuts comics, and twirling pens/nerf guns. He also has this weird obsession with house cleaning.

Robert, soon to be known by his debut rapper name Young Rob, is someone you'd refer to as a jack-of-all-trades, master of none. He is a writer, swimmer, mathlete, pianist, tennis player, tourist, and now avid reader from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, and is willing to try anything else for the right amount of money. He is a 2023 YoungArts Finalist in Poetry and a Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Gold Medalist in Poetry. Right now, he's embarking on a journey of reading as much Asian-authored literature as humanly possible. Maybe he'll finish a poem in the next six months.

SCREENWRITING EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Krish is a filmmaker and writer from the Bay Area, currently residing in Dallas. He enjoys surrealism, dark humor, and satire and his favorite directors are Wong Kar Wai, Kubrick, and Bong Joon Ho. He is currently working on a feature film screenplay as well as multiple short films that have been accepted at national film festivals.

Jack Birmingham is a young fiction writer who hails from the suburbs of Chicago, IL. His most recent works include short stories and fiction, although he is currently trying his hand at a YA novel. When not writing, he can be found playing the drum set in his rock band, working towards Eagle Scout, or hanging out with his friends.
